MÉNAGE À TROIS 2007

Tasting Note:  A perfect blend of Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet. To add complexity and retain characters, each varietal was fermented separately, matured in French and American oak and then blended together before bottling. Zinfandel brings some spice, blackberry and raspberry notes that balances with the soft generous mouth feel of the Merlot. The Cabernet adds rich flavours and firm tannins. A perfect California red blend!

Enjoy With:  Wonderful to enjoy before dinner with cheese or pate. A great match to a Beef dish or other grilled meats.

Dry / Sweet:  Dry red wine.

Terroir / Region:  Most of the fruit for Menage a Trois is from Northern California. Specially selected for this blend are grapes that bring their distinct varietal notes to the balance.

Producer:  Menage a Trois is the main wine of Folie a Deux Winery in Napa. Focused on premium wine, Folie a Deux is a little different and unusual but that works for them, their wines and their customers.
