Tasting Note: This full-bodied wine with sweet tannins and ruby/purple coloured hues, offers good balance and complexity. Enjoy the ripe flavours of cherries, plums, vanilla and hints of tobacco and paprika spices. A long terroir finish.

Enjoy With: A perfect accompaniment to crusty breads and rich cheeses, pastry dishes such as Beef Wellington, or enjoy on its own with your favourite dark chocolate for dessert.

Dry / Sweet: Dry, red wine.

Terroir / Region: Located in the province of Mendoza, one of the eight wine capitals of the world, this wine is cultivated in the region of Cuyo, particularly the area of Maipu. This red-soiled wine-producing mountainous area of central-west Argentina is the political and economic macro region and includes some of the most popular tourist attractions and the highest mountains in the Andes.

Producer: We always enjoy Familia Zuccardi wines and with more than 40 years of established winemaking traditions, the Santa Julia is a testament to the family’s dedication, passion and innovation they put into winemaking.
