Terroir / Region:  Located in the central pocket of the Wairau Valley, the certified organic 45 hectare vineyard is made up of free-draining Waimakariri soils. The land is planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Riesling. Olive groves, orchards, and vegetable gardens are an important part of the vineyard and add to the diversity of the Estate.

Producer: MOMO, which means offspring in Maori, selects sustainably and organically grown grapes from a small number of dedicated growers and embraces traditional winemaking. From these roots, MOMO has developed its own identity, producing wines which are true to variety and reflect the essence of their fruit characters. MOMO is youthful, urban and well travelled, with a subtle charm. Seriously stylish, MOMO loves good food and great conversation.
