Originally $9.95, it's been reduced to $8.20 for the duration of the holiday season - a deal you can't pass up.

Tasting Note: Bright, fresh red fruit aromas lead to a smooth and velvety palate of ripe cherries, berries and a touch of earth. Medium-bodied with a clean, dry finish, it’s an honest and easy-drinking wine.

Enjoy With: Straightforward and uncomplicated, it’s an ideal table wine for simple foods: chicken, pork, pasta and vegetarian dishes.

Style:  Dry red wine.

Terroir / Region: The Pays de l’Aude is part of Languedoc, France’s deep south. Close to the Spanish border and the Mediterranean, this sun-drenched, vine-covered area is home to some of the country’s most forward-thinking producers (check out the screwcap and the fresh new design) and its best values.

Producer: Yvon Mau’s roots go back to Bordeaux in the late 1800s. The company’s namesake — the son of the founder — would bicycle around Bordeaux searching for new wines to market to an emerging global market. Now one of the largest producers and exporters in the world, Yvon Mau continues the tradition of supplying high quality, value priced wine to consumers worldwide.
