Tasting Note: A beautiful and brilliant salmon pink colour leads to a distinct nose rich in freshly crushed strawberry, ripe cherry and hints of Turkish delight. Well balanced and crisply refreshing on the palate, it's gushing with rich red berry, spice and lasting fruitiness.
Enjoy With: It's perfect on its own and with all types of summer fare. Try it with barbecue chicken, antipasto and Mediterranean-style grilled fish.

Terroir / Region: Beach House is part of a large company with holdings all over South Africa's wine-producing region, allowing them to take advantage of a variety of microclimates to create the perfect fruit blend. The hillsides and valleys that fan out in three directions from the coastal city of Cape Town enjoy the cooling influence of the Atlantic and Indian oceans and are both a grape-grower's and a traveller's paradise. International varieties Merlot and Cabernet are completely at home on the Cape, and blended with Pinotage, they create a uniquely South African cuvée.
Producer: The Beach House line is part of DGB wines, South Africa's largest independent wine and spirit producer, which was established in 1991 following a merger between two estates that date back to the early 1900s. It encompasses Bellingham, Boschendal, Douglas Green and Tall Horse wines, but its roots go back to the late 1600s and the French Huguenot settlers who settled the Boschendal farm in Franschhoek (the "French Corner").
